The installer drops a Java 17 JRE next to the pack and writes the profile for you — TLauncher's default Java 21 / Forge 1.21 will crash this pack. Prefer to do it by hand? Grab the zip, install Temurin 17, and select Forge 1.20.1-47.4.9 in your launcher.
