Build a base.
Sail it across the world.

A friends-only Minecraft server with ships that actually sail, flying machines, hidden ruins, and a world worth exploring. Runs beautifully on Mac & Windows — one click to install, and you're in.

Server & voice address are added for you automatically.

The fun part

Turn anything you build into a ship.

Build a wooden hull, drop a helm, and sail it across the ocean. Take to the skies in airships and planes. Stumble on overgrown skyscrapers, raid pirate fleets, and explore a world that's bigger and stranger than vanilla. Bring friends — it's better together.

Get in, in three steps

Works the same on Mac and Windows. No accounts, no setup fees.

1

Install TLauncher

Free at tlauncher.org — open it once so it sets itself up.

2

Run the installer

Download the installer above for your system and double-click it. It puts everything in the right place — including the server address.

3

Play

Open TLauncher, pick the Aetherbound (Forge 1.20.1) profile, hit Play. The server is already in your list — join us on voice at ts.riegergeri.com.

In TLauncher, pick Forge 1.20.1 (47.4.9)not "ForgeOptiFine" and not "OptiFine" on its own. The pack ships Embeddium + Oculus for rendering; OptiFine injected into the version JAR conflicts with Embeddium and crashes the game. The installer drops a Java 17 JRE next to the pack — TLauncher's default Java 21 will crash Forge 1.20.1. Prefer to do it by hand? Grab the zip, install Temurin 17, and select Forge 1.20.1-47.4.9 (plain Forge) in your launcher.

Mac launcher error "A fájl írási művelete tilos … /natives"? Run aetherbound-fix-mac.command then re-launch (make sure Settings → Java points at the bundled aetherbound-jdk17 first).
